Use a Dropdown to Hide / Show Selected Rows (Pages) in a Worksheet

Postby Sisyphus » Tue Feb 21, 2012 2:46 am

This macro was developed for an application where there were 12 tables on a worksheet, one for each month. Only one of these tables needed to be visible at a time. So, we set up a validation dropdown with the 12 months in the list. One clicks on the month one wants in the dropdown and the corresponding table is displayed. All others are hidden. Of course, this little gadget has a million possible uses. Therefore I added a few parameters to make it easily adaptable to different applications.

The attached file has full instructions for installation and deployment. It also serves to demonstrate a very different application than the one described above. Have a look!

I do this for "honour and country" - much less of the latter, actually.
If I helped you, award points, plenty of them.
If I bored you, deduct points for being too long-winded. (I know, :lol)
