Set processor affinity programmatically

Postby noviko » Mon Jan 02, 2012 7:50 am

Sub: How to set processor affinity programmatically in a multi-core system?

I have a program in Excel (VBA) that slows down(even stops) in multicore system (CPU>2)
If I use only one processor by manual setting in Task manager, the program runs OK.

Does someone know how to set processor affinity programmatically in VBA, e.g. to call some VB script ? Thanks for help.

It seems as though this can be done with VB but not sure about with VBA through Excel. Will look into it and get back to you!
