Hide Personal.xlsb in Excel 2010

Postby harveyd105 » Sun Dec 25, 2011 11:36 pm

My macro is used 3 times daily and needs Personal xlsb which is always visible and I can't hide it via Home/Cells Format.
How do I use Excel for ordinary excel tasks and importantly save the results? Had no problem with Excel 2003!

Hi,

Sorry for the delay, but welcome to the forum. I found this bit of information. I hope this helps you.

To solve the problem, just start Excel and when the Personal.xlsb file is visible, display the View tab of the ribbon and click Hide in the Window group. The worksheet goes away, and you should immediately exit Excel. (If you are asked if you want to save your changes, respond in the affirmative.)

There are other ways too do this but...

Be kind let us know if you posted somewhere else!
