Hi
I have a problem in copying visible cells in Excel 2007
I have filtered some data and when I copy the filtered data and paste it to different sheet, the hidden data are also pasted.
One of my friend suggested that I should use visible cells only option to copy and paste filtered data.
I do not want to do this everytime.
Is there an option to copy visible cells by default.
regards
Prasanna

Hello
after you do a filter copy you want and then going to make a paste, do the following in excel ->>> copy -> paste special -> looking for Value -> highlight -> OK. Must be obtained.
I hope this will help you.
So ...
1. *Consider well what is your wish.
2. *Make a sample table
3. *Describe in detail what you want to happen is to be understood, not only by yourself.
4. And if you help someone else who needs help.

Not sure why this happens on your end. I'm in Excel 2007 and it copies only the visible cells by default for me. Try finding the keyboard shortcut for what you need to do or using a Table. Or, could you post a sample of the data?
