Format thousands

Postby johnny009 » Mon Apr 18, 2016 3:22 am

I have a number 570947422,0974 and I want to show it as 570.947 with dot, and without commas and decimals. Thanks a lot.

Hi

Assuming that number is in A1, try the following.

Code: Select all
=ROUND(A1/10000000000,3)

Perhaps someone will answer your question, as I for one, am not going to start typing up your data.

How is the data coming in, are you typing it in!

See the attached. The number format is "#,###.000,," without the quotes
