I have 3 lists (in columns) on a data sheet:
List 1 in Column A: Week ending dates (52 weeks)
List 2 in Column B: Corresponding revenue amount for store 1
List 3 in Column C: Corresponding revenue amount for store 2
On a new sheet from a drop down list of 52 weekending dates in cell (A1) I want be able to select any weekending date and have the corresponding revenue amounts for the stores populate cell B1 and cell C1 as such:
A1 | B1 | C1 |
date list | store 1 rev | store 2 |
01/02/2016 | $10,000.00 | $12,000 |

This is a job for INDEX and MATCH. Google for INDEX / MATCH to get instruction how to construct the formula and place it in your output cells B1 and C1.
Have a great day!

I do this for "honour and country" - much less of the latter, actually.
If I helped you, award points, plenty of them.
If I bored you, deduct points for being too long-winded. (I know, :lol)
