Hi All, I'm use to creating formulas in 2016 and they often become very long. I'm trying to make my sheet compatible with 2003 but I can't figure out how to shrink this formula. Any have any ideas?
Formula works fine though, just trying reduce its size somehow.
- Code: Select all
=IFERROR(IF(AV23="Net Price",IFERROR(SUBSTITUTE(IF(BOOKSELECT="MSRP",IF(AU23="MSRP",SUBSTITUTE(AU23,"MSRP",DISCNAME),AU23),IF(BOOKSELECT="A & D",AU23,IF(BOOKSELECT="B. Discount",AV23,IF(BOOKSELECT="Product Discount",AV23,IF(BOOKSELECT="Book Discount",IF(DISCSELE="Net Price",AU23,AV23),AU23))))),"Net Price",NETREPLACE),AU23),VALUE(IFERROR(SUBSTITUTE(IF(BOOKSELECT="MSRP",IF(AU23="MSRP",SUBSTITUTE(AU23,"MSRP",DISCNAME),AU23),IF(BOOKSELECT="A & D",AU23,IF(BOOKSELECT="B. Discount",AV23,IF(BOOKSELECT="Product Discount",AV23,IF(BOOKSELECT="Book Discount",IF(DISCSELE="Net Price",AU23,AV23),AU23))))),"Net Price",NETREPLACE),AU23))),AU23)

Hi,
IFERROR is not recognized by Excel 2003. Also to many IF for 2003...
Attach file with no sensitive data and we try to change/reduce your formula.
