Formula to combine multiple cells and calculate visits

Postby nwvvictoria » Wed Jan 27, 2016 11:31 am

ACCOUNT DRIVER ROUTE NUMBER CUSTOMER VISITS
111 PERSON A 3910 ABCD 1
222 PERSON B 3910 ABCD 8
333 PERSON 3 3910 ABCD 1
444 PERSON 4 3910 ABCD 2

I am looking for a formula to find all the route numbers and then calculate the amount of visits.

I have pages of data to analyse and due to route changes in the company, different people visit different sites throughout the month. Is there a formula that can find all the route numbers that are the same and then total up the visits?

My only option at the moment is to filter each route number and manually work this out which is going to take silly amounts of time and I am requested to gather this information weekly.

Any help much appreciated.
