Balance Sheet

Postby DMacKenzie » Tue Jan 19, 2016 1:52 pm

I am looking to have the Balance on a check register type spreadsheet to show up in a cell at the top of the page.

Transaction Deposit Withdrawal Balance
Current Balance $
Beginning Balance $1.00
$1.00 $2.00
$0.50 $1.50
$1.00 $0.50

I need the last number in the balance column to shop up in the Current Balance cell and change as the balance changes.

This is the formula I came up with but need to subtract the (D6:48) total from the rest.

=SUM((E5),(C6:C48),(D6:D48))

Hi D, how about
Code: Select all
=SUM((E5),(C6:C48),)-SUM(D6:D48)

If that doesn't help, then could you post a sample sheet so we can play with it :)
