Font Size of Values in Drop Down List using Data Validation

Postby phlmartn » Mon Jan 02, 2012 2:11 pm

My values in the drop down list (data validation) are presenting in a very tiny font. If I select one, it appears in the cell in the font I've specified for the cell. But in the drop down list they are too small to read.

I've used the DV function many times before and have never come across this. How do I change the font size of the values when viewed in the actual drop down list?

Hi there!

There is no way to do this in the drop down menu of a data validation list directly. But, if you increase the zoom on the worksheet that will increase the text size.

If you are willing to use a combo box and some programming, you could also get a larger font size, but this might be too much work for you, not sure, but here is a link to a page that will explain how to do this:

hope this helps :)
