retrieve a previous version of an excel document

how do you retrieve a previous version of an excel document? I accidentally save over it.

Hi and welcome to the forum!

If you still have the file open, try and undo the changes using Ctrl + Z.

Otherwise, try this, go to the Office Button > Excel Options > Save tab and look next to where it says "AutoRecover file location." Navigate to that location on your computer and see if there is a saved version of the file there.

How did you lose the info? Have you tried following the instructions I put in my first post?
